Fulton and Forbes is a wine and spirits store set in the idyllic and historic town of Ancram, NY. In this quaint cottage building we focus on classic and traditional wines alongside a rotating spirits selection. The wine selection emphasizes small producer and spirits showcase the many great distilleries of the Northeast. We will also showcase a collection of beverage wares, everything you will need to outfit your bar or dining room table.

Owner, Rachel Merriam was the wine director and sommelier of Casa Mono & Bar Jamon in Union Square and has worked in many facets of wine. She also graduated Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY which began her career in hospitality, food and beverage.

Fulton and Forbes is the name of the cross streets Rachel's paternal grandfather opened his first business in New Haven, CT. Over seventy years later it is the name she chose to debut my first store.
